I am a postdoc fellow at GIREF (since September 2010), in the Department of Mathematics and Statistic of University Laval, Quebec city. My research works within the GIREF concerns the resolution of the Navier Stokes equations by finite element method and the numerical identification of the critical Reynolds number who indicates the asymmetry phenomena for fluid flow. This work is under the supervion of M. A. Fortin.

During my Postdoc within the team REO of the INRIA- Paris-Rocquencourt (Sept.2008-Sept2010), my research work can be divided into two parts. The first one concerns the modelling of the flows of the air in the respiratory system and to determine effective algorithms relative to the model. The second part concerns the study of the influence of a spray evolving in the air, in the respiration framework.
This work is under the supervion of Mme. C. Grandmont.

I did my PhD at Jacques-Louis Lions Laboratory of Paris VI University during 2003 to 2007, entitled "Analyse et mise en oeuvre de nouveaux algorithmes en méthode spectrales " under the supervision of: Christine Bernardi and Stéphane Del Pino.
The work done in the preparation of my thesis can be divided into three parts. The first one concerns the study of a model for the interaction of turbulent fluids (the water of the ocean and the atmosphere above it). The second part is about the use spectral methods to discretize elliptic boundary value problems in non-tensorial domains. The last part concerns the extension of an existing object-oriented finite element code to incorporate also spectral methods, its validation and the application to the numerical solution of the ocean- atmosphere problem considered in the first part.
